The Canadian Water Resources Association and Engineers without Borders are partnering to organize a day of discussion to celebrate World Water Day 2012. This year’s theme “Water and Food Security” will be addressed through a variety of speakers and presentations that will highlight the importance of the management of our freshwater resources.

Special Guest speaker Scott Niedermayer will be presenting a talk on his role as the Freshwater Ambassador to the World Wildlife Fund.

Join us at Performance Works on Granville Island in Vancouver, B.C. to participate in the discussion!

Immediately following the event, the CWRA BC Branch AGM will be held at Performance Works.  Be sure to attend to find out how you can become involved.

World Water Day events are also being organized by Emily Carr University of Art and Design March 21-24.  Stick around on March 22 for a public evening of readings and screenings held at Emily Carr University.
