The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN) have announced a second call for proposals to the Adaptation Innovation Fund. Each successful project has the opportunity to receive up to $250,000 USD in worth of technical assistance to foster innovation for adaptation in countries in the majority world.

This initiative is part of the Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator (AFCIA), which targets a broad range of potential finance recipients, including governments, non-governmental organisations, community groups, young innovators and other groups.

The eligible countries in the programme include countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America and Caribbean under the UNFCCC that do not have National Implementing Entities (NIEs) accredited with the Adaptation Fund.

The second call for proposals is open until April 30, 2021. Learn more and submit your application here.
