ACT Executive Director Deborah Harford is proud to have contributed research and interviews to the Face of God, a new and unique pan-Orthodox film about God and nature, faith and climate change that explores the experience of Orthodox communities around the world facing and experiencing climate change in their lives.

Produced by The Orthodox Fellowship of the Transfiguration, and written and directed by Fr Kaleeg Hainsworth, the film showcases the most important voices in the Orthodox Church, including the highest ranking hierarchs, scientists, politicians, lay leaders, theologians, and communities around the world, and gathers the whole church on the defining issue of our time.

The faith community is beginning to mobilize climate action around the world. With over 200 million members, the Orthodox Church can be a powerful agent of change and this film provides an example on how to mobilize faith communities for climate action internationally. The Face of God

The Orthodox Fellowship of the Transfiguration seeks to proclaim the ecological mission of the Orthodox Church and to protect the natural world for future generations, which is threatened by the climate crisis.
