Report on Coastal Cities at Risk workshop exploring vulnerability, resilience, and adaptation concepts and practice in the context of risks posed by climate change,

The workshop is part of the Coastal Cities at Risk (CCaR): Building Adaptive Capacity for Managing Climate Change in Coastal Megacities Program, focused on developing the knowledge base and enhancing the capacity of coastal cities to successfully adapt to and cope with risks posed by the effects of climate change, including sea level rise, in the context of urban growth and development. The purpose of the workshop was to provide an in-depth, applied understanding of perspectives on vulnerability and resilience and their influence on types of adaptation strategies adopted and listen to participant experiences and reflections related to adaptation planning and implementation.
