Systems thinking approaches are critical during this time of significant challenges and uncertainty.

That is why the Climate Interactive has launched a new database, Green, Resilient, and Equitable Actions for Transformation (GREAT), that showcases examples multi-solving in the COVID-19 recovery. Multi-solving is the act of finding solutions that advance climate change adaptation and mitigation, while also producing co-benefits in health, resilience, and well-being.

Multi-solving and the consideration of co-benefits is integral to low carbon resilience approaches.

The GREAT Database will collect examples of how city, state, and national leaders are making COVID-19 recovery plans in ways that could also produce benefits in racial, gender, and economic equity and in climate change mitigation and resilience.
