The Canadian Institute for Climate Choices is inviting independent Indigenous researchers, knowledge holders, PhD and Postdoctoral researchers, and consultants to apply to create case studies that broaden conversations about climate policy recommendations. A stipend of $10,000-$15,000 is rewarded to successful applicants.

The Canadian Institute for Climate Choices is committed to ensuring that their work supports Indigenous self-determination, and that indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing are reflected in policy recommendations. They want to amplify Indigenous voices, research, and worldviews to ensure that their research meaningfully and inclusively embodies First Nation, Métis and Inuit perspectives to strengthen the impact and effectiveness of policy recommendations moving forward. 

The deadline for applications is Wednesday November 25, 2020 at 4pm PST
