ACT has been working with the Climate Migrants and Refugees Project (CMRP) to understand and address the way climate change will cause displacement in communities within Canada and around the world, and to develop strategies to help create safe and resilient communities that are ready to help those who may have lost their homes or livelihoods due to climate change.
CMRP is now working to build a network of engaged practitioners, researchers, activists, and community members who are already working on climate change displacement in some form or another.
