The Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia (REFBC) is now accepting applications for their General Grants. Grants are available to all organizations that are considered non-profits or community contribution companies (C3). These can include First Nations, charities and societies, NGOs, universities and colleges, trade associations, local and regional governments, and social enterprises registered as C3s.

REFBC grants can be used to cover project-related costs, including staffing and program delivery, project coordination, communications, consultant fees, workshops, and travel.

Funded projects in 2020 include a $160,000 grant for the Yellowstone to Yukon Initiative to support Indigenous land use planning and conservation work, a $19,000 grant to the BC Conservation Foundation for work with local governments and non-profits to develop a new conservation strategy to protect Coastal Douglas-Fir ecosystems, and $150,00 to Watershed Watch Salmon Society for flood control in the Lower Fraser River.
